Cleaning vinegar, lemon and baking soda

Cleaning vinegar, lemon and baking soda

Cleaning vinegar is a powerful degreaser, an incredibly effective product for everyday cleaning!

We didn’t always have the profusion of cleaning items that we know today. In the time of our grandmothers, people performed household cleaning using products such as vinegar, bicarbonate of soda or lemon.

With environmental concerns on the order of the day, reducing cleaning products, especially those that are not ecologically suitable, makes perfect sense. Also alternative cleaning solutions can weigh a lot less on your wallet and last longer. But of course, if you have us around, you won’t have to worry about that!

Cleaning vinegar (or alcohol vinegar) is a complete hygiene product. This is tremendously effective in killing bacteria like Salmonella and E.coli.
If you add a little baking soda and lemon juice to it, you have an excellent cleaning product! Mix very well in a bottle and just apply with a sponge.

In toilets, baking soda acts as a cleaning agent, while vinegar removes dirt. The lemon compensates and mitigates the strong smell that the vinegar gives off.
The toughest stains need a few minutes of application, so the vinegar can work and make cleaning easier. Also when cleaning the bathroom, if you spray the mixture in the shower area, you will avoid the creation of mold.
You can use it for many other cleanings. For example, to clean surfaces subject to microwave steam or to remove limescale from the iron.
